The Tails Of Old
Before Camelot’s golden age, there was a time of wild magic, untamed lands, and a young king destined for greatness. In the halls of early Arthurian Britain, knights swore oaths of valor, druids wove their enchantments, and the great wizard Merlin guided the realm’s fate. It was an era of whispered prophecies, Fae enchantments, and the forging of Excalibur—a time when the lines between myth and reality blurred.

Join us as we journey back to this world of chivalry and sorcery, where courtly grace meets the untamed mysteries of the Fae. The Atheria invites you to immerse yourself in a night of magic, where the echoes of Arthur’s court still linger in the the halls of Camelot.

The Yule Court represents a unique and magical moment in Camelot’s timeline—set during the early reign of King Arthur, before the heavy burdens of war and destiny settle fully upon his shoulders. Queen Guinevere is not yet the sorrowful figure of tragedy, but a radiant young sovereign with a heart full of dreams and a vision of peace and unity.
It is Yule, the Winter Solstice festival—a sacred time when the veil between the mundane and the mystical is thin, and ancient traditions awaken in firelight and frost.

Hearken now, noble guests and travelers from many lands and eras... as this is no ordinary night. And this is no ordinary court.

You stand within a moment drawn from the folds of time itself—a sacred pause beneath the solstice moon, summoned by none other than Merlin the Timeless, sage of many ages, walker between the stars and the stones.

Tonight, he has cast wide the circle and opened the great gates of Time, inviting friends and kindred from every when and where—knights yet to earn their shields, queens still learning to rule, bards born long after Camelot’s fall, and even those who dwell beyond the reach of legend.

Merlin has chosen this court—the youthful Camelot, with young Arthur and Guinevere in their first winter of reign—not as a beginning, nor as an end, but as a beacon. A place where joy is pure, hearts are open, and even the impossible might step in for a dance.

The hall is filled not only with the people of Camelot, but with guests from other centuries, realms, and stories. Faerie royalty walks beside wandering poets. Steampunk inventors share mulled cider with druidic sages. A child of the future spins beside a knight of the old code. All are welcome to a celebration outside of time, where past and future meet in merriment, and where the light, no matter how faint, is never truly lost.

Merlin A Mage In Time
Few names echo through history like that of Merlin—mage, seer, trickster, and guardian of destiny. Long before Camelot’s rise, he walked the mist-laden forests, whispering with the fae and shaping the fate of kings. A master of ancient magic, he wove spells as easily as breathing, his mind a vast tapestry of prophecy and possibility. Yet, even for one so powerful, time itself was never a boundary—only another mystery to unravel.
Through centuries untold, Merlin has wandered, learning from the scholars of the Renaissance, dancing among the masked revelers of the Rococo courts, and walking unseen through the towering cities of the future. With each era, he gathered wisdom, befriended legends, and left behind whispers of his presence in the stories of the world.
Now, he has returned once more, stepping from the veils of time to host a gathering like no other.
