WELCOME
To those who have answered Our summons,
By the ancient right of the Winter Court, We welcome thee to this Dark Masquerade. Beyond these gilded doors, names are forgotten, faces are hidden, and truth is veiled beneath velvet and shadow. Tread lightly, for every whisper carries weight, every glance conceals intent, and every bargain is remembered long after the candles have burned to ash.
This night belongs not to the sun, but to the moon. Dance if thou art bold, speak if thou art certain, and trust only as far as thy own heart allows. Within these halls, beauty is often the fairest disguise of danger, and the sweetest melody may yet herald misfortune. Keep thy mask fastened, thy wit sharpened, and thy secrets close.
Yet fear not, honored guest, for while thou remainest beneath Our roof, thou art bound by the ancient covenant of hospitality, as are We. No blood shall stain this revel, nor shall violence profane these sacred halls. Until the first light of dawn, surrender thyself to the mystery, and let the Winter Court decide what fortune awaits thee beyond the final dance.
